my dad was told buy the owner of www.araoengineering.com that it may be possible that they were going to make a four valve head for the ls1's. i was just wondering if there may be a intrest get the ball rolling a little faster. ls1's sweet port design with four valves i couldnt imagin the gains other than

how do they make 4 valves per cylinder work on a 2 valve per cylinder vehicle? There is only camshaft. I just can't visualize what is going to be done.

I'm sure those heads will cost a bazillion dollars.
AFR is supposed to release some heads for us within the next 12 months, I'm not exactly sure on timeframe.

the guy was actually saying the ls1's would be easier to do due to the way ports are set which means easier to make the cheeper the'll be. i would imagine the cost to be around the 4-5k zone. but with the gains they say with the rest of the heads. it should be around 150-200 hp gain just from heads and most likely tuning of course.

I cant remember EVER seeing any proof of a running Dominion or Arao 32v LT1 motor...Lots of pics of the parts, and a couple in a car but incomplete, but no proof. Not even any secondhand witnesses, or friends of friends.

Those heads are kick *** and all, but still using the LS6 intake.... I don't think that the potential of just regular stage II heads have really been tapped being there is no after market intake yet other than the sheetmetal ones that have only a gain in the high RPM range.....
A solid roller stroker motor with the 4 valve heads and a very high flowing intake would make some very killer numbers NA I'd imagine...![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)

lol.. 200HP from 32 valve heads? is that the kind of gains you saw from the 2 valve 4.6 mustang to the 4 valve cobra? ( I thought it was more like 260-320)
Anyway... not to be a hater, but my only response is "puff puff pass... puff puff pass..."

I was sent the product literature when they were doing business as Dominion. . All the literature and graphs look the same as 5-6 years ago. I contacted them about 3 years ago and they said they had no plans for a 32v LS1 head. They use forked rockers. (Un)Fortunately(?) my 4l60e gave up the ghost and I moved on to a LS1.
I have a 48s soundclip of a blown 383ci 32v LT1 idling, but nowhere to host it. It's about 1M in size.

my dad talked to them about a week ago and he said they had the idea of doing this depending on the intrest but it seems you guys arnt very interested. 1999_SS_M6 were not dealing with mustangs were dealing with pure chevy power so comparing a 4.6 to a ls1 is like comparing apples and oranges. also, it's not a ford or chevy combustion chamber or ford port design used on the arao heads its a totaly diffrent combustion design used with the ls1 port design.

my question is were to put the valves? have you looked at the combustion chanbers on an ls1 head, you would have to have four cute little valves jammed into a very small area no way in hell it will flow 200hp better than the current design imho.

Email it to me, travish@tulsaconnect.com and I'll see if I can convert it to .mp3 and make it a bit smaller and I'll host it
