Default New cam and springs, will rockers and pushrods hold up???

Ok, I have a stock 6.0L out of an 06 2500 HD. This LQ4 engine only has 19,000 miles so I am trying to make this last for a while and dont feel like messing this thing up. I installed a comp cam 232,234 595, 598 112LSA. I used crane dual springs with steel retainers and left everything else stock. I dont plan on turning this engine past 6200 but what does everyone think is safe. I am using a mighty demon 750 and a 6 speed all goin in an S10. This engine has not yet been fired.

As far as timing, I just simply lined up the dots with #1 at TDC and Tq it all back together.
As far as the heads go, Installed springs and retainers and Tq all back down.

I'm fairly sure I have plenty of piston to valve clearance but I am woried if the stock pushrods and rockers will hold up to it. I could get some comp pushrods for a decent price but I dont know if I should keep the same length or what. Not really wanting to spend alot on rockers but if its a must then I gotta do it.

Any help is appreciated, Lee.

I'd consider a pushrod upgrade. Although I don't personally know if the stockers in the Iron 6.0 are any different from stock LS1.

The rockers are the same as stock LS1, and will be fine. I would highly recommend an upgrade to an aftermarket pushrod with any cam/spring swap.

I agree on that but I still need to figure out if I should get 7.4 or shorter.

Spend the cash now you don't have to spend more later. Get the push rods. Stock rocker will hold up fine.

I realize know that 7.4 are stock but because of the lift should I go a lil shorter? Say like 7.350 or do you guys think I'll be fine.

Actually with a bigger lift cam you want a little bit longer push rod to make up for the base circle diameter decrease. I would through in 7.425 chromoly pushrods from comp just to make sure it doesn't sound like a sewing machine. Definetly do not go shorter unless your milling the heads. all in all youll be fine with 7.4 but i would get the .025 longer just to be safe. Have fun!

Thanks guys, I forgot about the base circle being smaller and now that I think about it, it makes sense. Lee
