Default 3" or 2.5" collectors?

im ordering a set of headers from hawks 3rd gen, was wondering what i should go with, 2.5" collectors or the 3" collectors looking for 500whp on my build.

I would get the 3 inch collectors since your shooting fot that much power.

I would go with 3" also at that power level. Most popular long tube headers have 3" collectors anyway.

Also, this should be posted in the external engine section.

ordered the 3" collector stainless works headers from hawk should have them by fri of next week! yay
anyone know of someone who makes true duels for 3rd gens, i went to a local muffler shop and they said it cant be done, i told the guy it can and argued that ive seen countless pics, he still didnt believe me. grrr

what do pacesetters come with 2.5? im only shooting for around 430-440 though :-P

i feel your pain man! it took me a while to find a shop to run true duals on my camaro even when i brought pics with me. but keep looking and take pics along with you and you'll find a place.
