Default Did I get a good deal on l92 and l76

I paid 1800 cash for 2 longblocks, heads, block, oilpan, front covers..

The 6.0 was from a 2008 chevy truck. its all aluminum says 6.0 on front and has head castings that say 823.The motor has 1500 miles on it. The next motor is a 6.2 from a 2007 Escalade all aluminum block with head castings that say 5364. Mileage was under 45k on this one.

I was planning on taking these motors and building them up for a couple projects I have.

depends on what you compare it to. I bought 2 L92s, one complete turnkey, one long block, $650 for the pair from the dealer. I had to put a valve in one of the heads though though.

I am always looking for a 6.0L iron or aluminum block for my next projects. If you have a line on some for a good price, I'd definitely be interested in one or a few...

I think you got a pretty good deal for sure! I picked up my L92 complete pull out for $1,200 with 30,000 miles on it. It still had the starter and complete front drive system too. By the time i sold eveything i didn't need I was in the positive. I made $1,800 off all the parts i didnt need. So i made $600 and still had a 6.2 aluminum block and complete L92 heads with rockers valve covers and coilpacks.
