Yeah they do look back in the threads they have one going on right now with results of a FAST LSX-R on cathedral port heads an the guys at vengence racing are claiming they are making more power than the those who have put them on the rectangle port style heads.

Which route would yield me more power with my other mods?

How much better does the fast 102 outflow my ported LS2 intake?
https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...-cube-ls2.html This is the post you'd be wanting to read through if your trying to make more power with this intake. They actually are saying the gains are slighty better than those who have the rectangle port LS3/L92 headed cubes. Stayed tuned for an update from Pat G. on the gains between the three types of intakes on a G8.

Maybe I threw you off, by asking how much better the 102 flows over my ported LS2 intake.

Im just curious which way to go with this route... either=

Have my 243's ported,add a fast 102 intake,NW 102 t.b.
or
L92 heads,ported L76 intake,add my ported LS2 stock t.b.

Since I have been hearing that the fast 102 doesn't gain much over a ported L76/LS3 intake. I figured I would be better off to go the L92 head route w/the 76 intake. Because I figured the stock L92 heads would still gain more power over my ported 243's.That's where I figuered I would pick up the extra hp.

Both approaches will work and work well. I'd put it down on paper and whatever one came out the better value is the route Id take. Might be splitting hairs but still dough is dough.

Another thing to consider is cathedral ports have had cam research for over ten years so theres no mystery and no real gains to be had by the next best cam we have them now. L92 heads and the mystery of "the next greatest cam" seems to happen almost daily. My thinking is five years on theres more room to grow as tech grows along with the L92 R&D etc.

Good luck either way.

I may of did a cam swap but it was the same cam in there for both intakes and it still had no gain on my motor.
