The coil packs, fuel injectors & IAT sensor (I think) is all wrapped up in the same harness that goes to a single 14 pin connector. I don't think it will be a plug & play deal on a LS1 F-body. I attached a picture for reference.
No, the harness is still separate. Just like all the rest. I know because we use them on our standalone engines with the MSD6012 or 6010 controllers.

i love this idea. but the look just kills me.

i cant stand that it has a breather hole up front. and that the oil fill hole is in the back on the driver side.

John is there any future covers coming out that will be more LS f-body friendly.

You do realize that if you put the valve cover on the other side of the engine that the oil fill hole then fills from the front passenger right? And by doing so, the breather is then on the back drivers?

^^^^ yes. but there is still a breather hold by the fill hole, isnt there?

i know i am just being picky. worst case i can fill in holes with weld and sand it smooth then coat them.

how many sets you have in stock?

There is a breather tube on the standard ls valve covers as well. Even on the valve covers with no coil provisions like the LSX ones, they have the breather tube on them as well.

I have 2 sets on hand.

FYI though, that breather tube screws in to the valve cover and could easily be plugged.

Buying an extra valve cover is cheaper then buying two extra coils + hardware, AND you get a spare coil + cover. Hard to beat that with a stick...

Looks like a clean setup.

Does anyone know if the LS3 & LS7 fuel rail inlet clears the coils as well? I would hate to buy a set and find out that the fuel rail inlet was in the way.
I'm sure the LS9 fuel rails must be total different as the supercharger is in the way.

Why would you need to adjust anything? They are just coils. There is no tuning required. They are like the Ronco Electric Food Dehydrator....just set it, and forget it!

Usually it is the "dwell" but ONLY ONLY ONLY an experienced tuner in a controlled setting should do that. And I think that would only normally work better in a high demand situation. A normal street car would prob not see much benefit really.

I know there have been a few tests of said coils etc, but there are a few points that are not address, but in this case ill keep my opinions to myself and just say your results will vary.

for the life of me I still can't figure out why we don't have decent aftermarket valve covers, or coil relocation kits that look nice and don't cost $400+

it's a racket...
