Default Stroker labor?

On average, how much does a typical shop charge, in labor for a stroker install. Assuming I already have the block and internals. LS2 402 if that matters.

whichever it is, it shouldn't be anymore than a non-stroker if you're providing all the parts..

And my buddy will probably install your engine into the car at his dealership after hours. I'll have to ask him what he'll charge. He's gonna be installing my engine when its done. He works on tons of LT1/LS1 F-Body's in this area, I'm sure the GTO will be cake too............his new engine is at that same shop right now getting put together.

Where are you getting the work done? I am still trying to find a place to build my 425 without raping me.

The best price I found from a Pro shop was TEC - Total Engine Concepts; I talked to Mike, the owner, he was a great guy to talk to and spent over an hour on the phone with me. I've talked to about 5 different shops from Tampa to here in Jax and Mike's shop in WPB was the best in price BY FAR!

It's been a few months since I've talked to him since school is raping me, but I've no doubt they are still the best $$$ around. They are a TOP END shop so hit them up

Should one expect the labor to be under $1500? Including assembling the block, and installing it?

$1500 would actually be a good deal for assembly and install

I just looked over my list and for the following labor it was around $1526-/+

disassemble
hottank
magflux
line hone
deck
cylinder bore tq plate
fly cut
clearance
balance rotating
assembly of LB

Now you can save money like $100 if you disassemble the block yourself and some stuff may not need to be done, like a line hone, but if you talk to Mike he will fill you in.
