100mm MAFs, whats the scoop?
I have a 104mm lid, straight pipe to 102mm tb and intake.
I am not happy with the tuning capabilities and I think a maf would help.
What are all the options and how are they performing for people?
Id like to do this cheap as possible,
I know lingenfelter has one that looks great but its 300$.
I know there is one by tsp for 250.
I know Powrmaf has something for 200$, but looks a bit sketchy
input please.

Honestly, tuning SD is much easier than MAF because you don't have to tune the MAF also.

Considering most "MAF" tuners dont actually tune anything because the maf does fueling for them. I think you will find the MAF the easy way out.
We all know how you should do it, but not many do!

There's no reason why an SD tune would have less 'capabilities'. If you're having this done profesionally then you need to go to a new tuner. If you're doing it yourself then you should read and learn how to properly do an SD tune instead of shelling another $200+ for a MAF.

I know what I am doing and I've ran it by a few of the top tuners around, Im just not getting satisfactory results.
To be completely honest, no one seems to know how to tune the bias tables on ls1 pcms and that is an important part.

I have a halltech 100mm maf housing with ls3 card style maf and to be honest I regret that I swapped the stock maf .
The engine cuts fuel most of the time while cruising but the full throttle is ok .
For the gain ,mmmm my car has only bolt-ons and probably had ZERO gain with the 100mm maf.
Keep your stock maf or get a SD tune .

+2 on the PowrMax! I had a stock ported 85mm before and it was showing some issues, so Ed a VA Speed recommended the PowrMax.
Picked up over 35 rwhp, but as I said I was having trouble with the previous MAF. The key is that is works as advertised as long as your tuner knows what he is doing!
