Default F-body oil pan question

Are all F-body oil pans the same? I have a Gen-4 Camaro. I'm thinking about buying an L99 with a bad block (but good oil pan), and a bare L92 block that is still good. If I put the L92 in my car with the L99 oil pan, will it fit?

The pans will physically fit the bottom of the engine just fine but at some point the new replacement Fbody pan is threaded for a 2010 and up camaro oil filter instead of the 98-02 ls1 car threads, I'm not sure exactly when they started doing this but my pan is about 4 years old and it is like that, I'm not sure about various oil pickup arrangements so you would need to check on that as well.

The engine I'm looking at appears to be a compete long block, minus whatever exited the hole. I figured I would just use the stock oil pan, dipstick, and pick-up tube from the L99. Why would different oil filter threads be an issue? I'm sure I could get an oil filter for it, even if it's not the same part# as the LS1. I was more concerned about the oil pan hitting the K-member, or something else.

I already don't have much room around the headers to get the oil filter off. Is the L99 oil filter in the same location?

I can live with that.

It it shaped the same? I don't want it hitting anything in the car.

Run an Fbody pan otherwise it will not clear the f-body k-member or rack-n-pinion. Driver side header is closer to the engine and pan than the passenger side.

Wow. That is very helpful. Also, thanks to @01CamaroSSTx for the in-car pics. With those two posts, it's easy to see why the 5th gen F-body oil pan won't fit in a 4th gen car. I knew the truck oil pans wouldn't fit. I just wasn't sure about the car oil pans. Now, I can see they are very different. Thanks for the great info!
