Trickflow 225 heads and only come with .600 lift springs WTF
I am going to buy tfs 225s but didn,t plan on getting new springs and I can,t find a option to get better spring with the heads. My cam is a 232/234 112 lsa with 595/598 lift and the springs in the trickflow heads are .600 max lift, any ideas? And I already bought yella terras so I guess its just one more thing to get.

Ugh, your lift isn't over 600, and you're running a hydraulic setup, so you won't even reach exactly 595/598 lift. Infact, for optimal valvetrain geometry, you want to be within 50 thou of coil bind (which will be 600 for those springs on the 225 heads), so really, your lifts are nearly perfect for those springs. Now, if you're going to upgrade the cam later, then just get upgraded springs when you do the cam.
Good Luck!

hold on
Here is a quote from TEA's website:
These new fully CNC-ported heads feature 215cc intake runners,
80cc exhaust runners,64cc combustion chambers,2.040" intake valves,
1.575"exhaust valves,bronze valve guides,and ductile iron intake
and exhaust seat inserts.
Assembled heads come equipped with stainless steel intake and
exhaust valves, 1.300"dual extreme pressure (150# seat 450# open)
valve springs for lifts up to .650",viton seals, machined spring
locators, 7 degree titanium retainers and machined steel locks.
One last important feature of this 13.5* head design is the valve
drop. This head features a .155" valve drop on the intake, a stock
5.7 head with 2.00" valves has around .150". What this means is you
can run this head on stock pistons with large camshafts and still
have more piston to valve clearance than a stock head and also
more compression.
I thought the same thing for a second.

TrickFlow/Summit feel with .600" lift they almost guarantee the springs for life
We've run .646" lift cam lobes, even LSK lobes with these heads, work fine
Yella Terra rocker arms seamed to perform better then other brands we've used on TFS heads

Good to hear for his sake, the only problem with that is....who would stand behind that if the springs failed using such a cam (larger than .600" lift)... Thats alot of money to throw out the window on a gamble.

There are basically 4 different 1.300 dual springs in use.
The AFR heads come with the base spring.
The base spring polished and plated is the Gold spring (140 seat, 360 open)
The next better spring is the "Extreme" or "Platinum" spring, and are chrome in color (155 seat, 400 open)
The next better spring is the "Max Pressure" or as AFR calls it the 8019 upgrade spring, this is the base spring that all TFS LS heads have used since Fall 2006. (160 seat, 450 open)
Hope this helps.
