Default Istalled my new cam. (VRX5)

Ok so last week worked on getting all the parts in hand, and Satruday installed the parts and got it street tuned , waiting on a few heat cycles of the springs and then an oil change, and then we will dyno it and put the finishing touches on the WOT tune (add timing back, and lean it out, its rich and no timing to make sure its safe untill we get to the dyno).

VRX5 Camshaft (236/238 .601/.605 on a 113LSA)
Partriot Dual Extream valve springs, seals, locks and Titanium retainers.
7.4 hardened push rods
Powerbond Underdrive pulley.

Car drive great, idels great, cut up pretty good although the current magnaflows are so good at what they do they dont reall show how good it cuts up at idel. My new mufflers come in Tuesday, and I will install wednesday, so we will see if I can fix that. haha I always thought the LS2 kinda drops off at anything after 5500rpms, but now, after 3500 its pulling harder, and after 4000 you here it start changing tones, and by 4500 its pulling WAY better, have only had it to 6k once, but its still climbing hard, so after a few more heat cycles and the tune its going to be alot more fun.

Thanks to all that replied on my questions about the VRX5, i love it so far!

A few pics of the install.

Right before we swapped the cam

A bad clip, and not a lot of idel time in it but you can here it a little

Good numbers, get rid of that stock restrictive intake. A ported fast from Vengeance Racing will give you an easy 20-25 hp!
