Default LQ4 build what kind of RWHP??

i would really like to see 500rwhp but probably wont happen but would be happy with close to 475-480 N/A. what do u guys think?

-Fresh LQ4 shortblock W/ ARP's
-polluter cam (24x,24x dur & 610,612 lift)
-ported 799 heads
-LS6 intake
-thinner head gasket to up the compression a little (not sure which gastket to use... any suggestions??)

its a 6spd car with a 10 bolt for right now with 4:10s

let me know what you guys think it might put down N/A and also with 150 shot also any suggestions on what to do to get to the power range im lookng for w/o sinking to much more money into this thing its just a street car weekend warrior

thanks

I think you will make between 425-450rwhp N/A. It takes a lot to make 500rwhp N/A on a stock stroke setup. Add 150hp to that for the nitrous.

I think with somone like advanced Induction or TEA porting those heads, the polluter cam and .040 gaskets Aiming for 11.1 compression you could get 475 or so with a ported fast intake. but 450 + with ls6.
my heads are milled to 63.5 cc and stock .052 gaskets I have 10.3/1 compression.

My trans am with mildly ported 241's made 452/422 with my lq4 short block and f14 cam. with a 12 bolt and 4.11 gears on 17 inch rims

Ok maybe someone can point me in the right direction, but i swear there was a thread or a Sticky for a LQ4/9, Ls2 swap in to a F-body. Is it the same as the L92/LS3/L76?

yea im shooting for 11:1 or 11.5:1 compression was thinking about milling the heads a little but i have to make sure my ptv's will be good with the cam...

also i havent takin the block in to get worked and been juggling the idea of .030 over to make it a 370 i think that might help me out a bit plus running the 11.5:1 compression

You could get some -4 cc pistons with deep eye brows for vavle relief and mill the heads to around 59 cc. at .o30 over bore would get you about 11.24/1 with a .045 gasket and 11.05 with a stock .052 gasket. 11.39/1 with a .040 gasket

For refference, Im running Mahle power pac pistons with 4 cc reliefs and 5.3 heads milled to 54 cc chambers and 2.0 int. valves, 1.6 exhaust and have **** loads of clearence with a 238/250 .603/.596 110lsa 106 cl cam.
