Default LS3 418 Stroker/LS3 CNC Ported heads...Need help deciding on cam

Hello, so here is what I'm working with
2000 WS6 with T-56 and Currie 9" with 3.50 gears
LS3 block bored 4.080, 4" stroke crank, 6.125 H beam rods, have not purchased pistons yet and have heard of only 1 shelf set of pistons for 4.080 bore?
Just purchased SDPC CNC Ported LS3 cylinder heads with 70cc chamber and .660 lift
Stock LS3 rockers with trunion upgrade, LS3 intake/fuel rail/42lb stock injectors.
So I think I have laid enough out there to get the idea, if I left anything out let me know, shooting for 11.5 compression and 525rwhp. My question is what cam or cam specs should I go with, looking to drive on street and take to track occasionally so would like kinda on the wild mild side. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also will the 42lb injectors be enough to support this build or will I need to bump it up? Thanks for looking

sub'd. I am building a 416 with this same setup. Probably need to upgrade the injectors to something more. You won't need to go large on the durations as you make better power on smaller cams.

Ok, that's what I figured on the injectors. So now I have stock LS3 injectors and green top Ford 42lb EV1 style injectors for sale p.m. if interested. Im thinking 48-52lbs?

I was told 52lb injectors will do the job.

Thanks for the help people. I purchased a set of flat top bullet pistons and got referred to Pat G from another member with similar setup and so far so good. Anxiously waiting for the results

With the LS3 fuel rail the injectors are shorter and I would need some spacers to fit the green tops. What about running the LS3 42#'s ? Do the green tops have a better flow rate or would these do?

I doubt the LS3 42's will suffice. The Ford 42's at the LS fuel rail pressure net out to be 47-48lb.

I know this isn't the fuel section but since were on the topic do you know of any injectors that have EV1 and are short so it will fit in the ls3 setup? I sold the green tops last night

I do but unlike a lot of people here, I only comment publically on things for which I have personal experience.

Ask the question in the Fuel forum here.
