Default 470 cu Inch Mozez Tractor Pulling Engine Build

We Have built our Customer Greg's BBC's for years and he decide to switch over to a Mozez Headed LSX For this Season. He has to use a iron block and a cast 4 barrel intake manifold other then that its pretty wide open.

We Started off with a Tall Deck LSX Block. We Bored the factory cam tunnel to accept a 60mm Cam and did a Jesel .937 Keyway style bushing and lifter combo. Block Was Line Honed and fitted ARP Main Studs. It was then Square Decked to 9.700. Bored and then Torque Plate Honed and then finished with plateau brushes to the ideal R.A. Finish.

Crank Is A Billet Bryant 8 counterweight crankshaft with there REM Finish Done.

Rods are a Custom Carrillo H Beam Style rod and MIKE @ Diamond Did an Awsome Job on the ALL BILLET Dome Pistons to get 16 to 1 compression. Pins are tools steel with DLC Coating.

LSM Custom Ground 60mm Camshaft well over an 1.00 of lift

Using a bigger diameter camshaft helps stregthen the valvetrain, your able to put a shorter pushrod in it and also when you start running large lift numbers you need to be able to put the right size lobe on the cam as opposed to putting a bunch of rocker ratio into it.
