Same here, dry sump oiling is not necessary for this caliber of a build as well swinging the cost for one. I have had the HVAC removed on the car for over 10 years now. It makes everything clean and simple on this set up. Just two belts, one for the alternator and one for the pump.

And for those that run a vacuum pump, how are you regulating the vacuum? Do I need some kind of regulator, and/or gauge to keep it in check?

Thanks. I pretty much kept it that way since it was new. The medium patriot red metallic color paint as Chevrolet called it in 1994 is still original.

Assuming the Moroso doesn't have some sort of built in regulator, yes you need some sort of external vacuum control. Here is but one example of an adjustable vacuum control valve.

I've done some research, and Moroso does make a pump mounted valve relief regulator. Reher Morrison Performance Racing makes a similar pump mounted regulator as well.

The map is an AC Delco, #1261497343011. Got it from GM Parts Now or O'Reilley's. There is a piece of fuel line between it and the TB.
During my last seven yrs in the USAF, almost all communication was via email so because of that and my OCD, I check, organize and clean out my email pretty often. %-)

Thanks, I think so too.
Since I'm already utilizing an ATI hub w/ a gilmer pulley, I have no choice but to run one. And that's great idea, I will just do that, to run a back to back comparison.
