Looking into solid bushings for the cradle and possibly new control arms and trailing arms with poly bushings. I've unfortunately been slacking on the suspension. I haven't done anything yet. Granted, the car isn't even 1 yet, but I should spend some time making that right.

Doesnt do any good to make power if the car can't hook.

Question is, when it DOES, what happens I'll admit, I'm terrified of a dead hook in my car. I just know it's going to be expensive...

I'm picking these up for added benefit. (The bottom 2)

Lol I'm with ya on that. I'm scared of a hard dead hook as well. I dont mind spinning, but the car was getting loose at 70+mph in 3rd at the track. I think they were stingy with the vht. Haha

Those are nice pieces. That's one reason I really want the cradle bushings. I've seen these rear ends do fairly well until someone gets some bad wheel hop. I don't feel like buying a diff right now. On the street, it has enough power to where I don't have to worry about it. At the track, I'm afraid of it.

Here is what happened last time I dead hooked:

But, in my differentials defense, it did put up with over 3 years of what one might describe as "heavy duty". LOL

Lol ouch. Like you said though, if it took 3 years of heavy abuse, that's pretty good.

There was a guy at the track last night whose whole rear end just came right out the back.....wheels and all.

Whoops...

That's one of the most funniest things in life @ a track now turning 38 on April 7th.
My uncle had been helping a guy we all knew from the hood, so he spent a Bit on a 400sbc after-market block and heads/ trans but forgot about the C clips ............Stage,......hit the trans brake.... and Boom!!!!
Spindle jumped out, car only moved Literally 2 Feet...Lol!!!!!!!

We ended up having to use a Floor jack to get it off of the the staging lanes.

Yikes, that is what I am running. I do have Moser 30 spline axles. I had better order the cover plate with the two tension bolts to add a little more strength. Right now I just have the stock cover.

Unless you are going to be on the dragstrip, I don't think it will be an issue.

I plan on hitting the strip a few times to see what she will do. However not nearly as many times down the strip as you have.

Martin, you know this about as much as anyone, but man this thing just wants to rev now. It takes some getting use to how quickly it revs, and getting use to how the car sounds. I've short shifted quite a few times, but man she just wants to go.

This thing revs faster than any of my hondas did now. It's crazy. (sounds better doing it too.)

Ouch. Are you still running the stock diff? I was a little worried, but now I'm even more worried. lol These manuals really put a beating on the diff. It's not quite as easy to preload the drivetrain.

Just pulled my intake to finish my coil relocation and noticed I'm pulling quite a bit of oil through the clean side. I'm not sure if it's just the positioning of the rockers and the new valve cover vent or what, but it shouldn't be getting this much oil in the intake.

I don't think I had this much oil in the intake before I had a catch can on the pcv side.

As of now with my new motor there is not much oil in the catch can. This is one reason I want to keep my Holley valve covers with the new adjustable shaft rockers. So I am looking at the thick Yella Terra valve cover seal and or the UMI 1/2" spacer.

I use the LS6 valley cover for my PCV and hardly ever have anything in my catch can.
