So............................

Put a TB Spacer on to get the blade to 100% throttle. Compared to 76% before being all I could get on the new intake. But I forgot to hook up IAT. The WB error was showing 10% error due to not hooking up IAT, so the data below needs to be adjusted by 10%...

Maxed out g/sec again. Around 6500 rpm, it held until 7100 when I let off.
G/cyl went from 0.99 to 1.20. Remember this is scaled 25%.
Injector duty cycle went from 98.4% to 120.2%
At 7k, which looks like peak power, the WB was showing 0.9 lambda, but IAT was disconnected, so it might have actually gone lean. Honestly not sure how to interpret this other than I had calculated my injectors would be enough but they are apparently not.

So I need 60 lb injectors for real. And I need a new pair of shorts. Had LazerLemonTA in car with me, spun second (typical), hooked third at 45 mph and pulled to 106. It covered that in a very short distance. Both of us scared shitless. *** shaped creases in the seats now btw.

Why are you and Ham afraid to scale? You don't care about g/sec, you care about frequency. That's your real hardcoded limit only if you're still rocking a MAF. You can always scale more to get around the g/sec limitation. We've scaled 50% sometimes. I figured you'd start with 60lbers on that mountain motor. Nice to see it's running so we'll. Do it to it!

I went with the 60lb injectors for this build of mine, going 450lph pump as well.
I should have it back in car next week so I'm getting pretty excited reading your post.

I was actually going to jump to 50% sometime today. I had thought 25% would be enough. I went SD, so no maf frq. Dynamic air pegs at 511.99 g/sec. FIC 60s will be the good. I had calculated 42 (51 at LS pressure) would be enough, but it seems to be making more power than I expected.

We usually max out around 550whp before scaling. I don't think when you scale it's 1:1 anymore as far as estimated fwhp, at least from what I've seen in the higher hp boosted setups, but anytime you have to scale it means it's making powa

Lol yeah I agree. I do not think the math correlates with power anymore. But it is wicked fast.

From 45 to 107 in third gear pull in 4.89 sec. but not in powerband until 78 mph where a track upshift would be. From 78 to 107 in third was 2.41 sec.

Probably in that 137-138 quarter trap
I’d call that “wicked fast”

Default INJ-60 650 cc "short" ?

Hi J, I can provide a 650cc @ 45 psi. injector "short" (???) for your needs.

This is a size I fit often.

They WILL BE Flow Matched, set of eight, with Dead Times report.

Can your "spec" the Injection Instant in degrees ?

You will get best price.

not afraid to. I’m already at 35% and still maxing out. Just worried that it either somehow becomes unpredictable or costs me HP. I’ll probably have to scale 45% to keep it from maxing out

Worried=afraid. Scale that thing already! Like I said, we've done 50% before on the stock ECU without a problem.

I scaled it to 50%. I actually kind of like it. Makes the math easy. Just double all your numbers to know exactly where you are. Car runs fine on it. I was a bit afraid of losing resolution with it, but it was so far past the max of the ECU, it didn't matter. Even at 50%, I'm getting 322 peak g/sec, so 644. The ECU won't go past 512. On the fuel side, the injector duty cycle dropped to 103%, so I'm less concerned than I was at 120%. Timing was a bit of a concern, since the cylinder loads are now double. Scaling the tune can inadvertently advance the timing ony ou if you're not careful.

Edit - I made a post in DDN's thread on scaling the tune with my observations to see what people who know more than me think.

bottom line, I think that the car is running better scaled vs unscaled.

I noticed the easy math on the 50% scale too Good catch on the timing scaling as you CAN blow stuff up, especially when boosted, if you don't pay attention to your new g/cyl. I briefly mention this in the sticky and it is an important note. I'm glad you confirmed my discussion on the idle tables. I had some that I scaled half of the rest of the tune and some that I didnt scale at all. Seems like it is setup dependent. Glad its running better!

actually if you know the definitions of those two words they’re two different things

I have the walboro 255lph now but never hooked up my hot wire kit. I just ordered a 340lph and will install the hot wire kit at same time. Guess I should have enough, glad I didnt go 450 and need an aftermarket fuel regulator

I almost did the 340, but I calculated 256 overvolted would be enough. I didn't want to deal with FPR either
