I also contacted cam motion about the stroker king camshaft and the recommended compression.
I was told that if you go over 12.0 you won't really see any gains and you may have timing issues too. And this is with 26 degrees of overlap.
I should have an update some time this week.
Looking forward to seeing how this solid roller will do.

Can someone please tell me the weight of the stock LS3 intake valves?
I can't find the information on the internet.
One site says they are 118g and another 91g.

They are hollow-stem. 91g.

Aftermarket Manley hollow-stem are 107g. Solid Stem are 119g.

So that means the stainless valves I have installed are 27g heavier per valve which equals 216g of net Valve weight more than the LS3 valves I had in there.
Manley does say these raceflo valves are good up to 8000rpm.

Probably.

But you went solid roller right? I wouldn't do hollow-stem with solid rollers. You're increasing weight and spring pressure to control the valve. And you want a solid stem valve to handle that added valve spring pressure.

Yes a low lash solid.
Lucky I went with the solid stainless after all then.

Pac1209x shimmed to within .05 of coil bind and fererea stainless valves. No sign of valve float at 7895rpm with yella terra rockers

I talked to MAST and SPS about it. Both said to use solid stem. MAST recommended I upgrade to the Ti valves since they are lighter than the hollow-stem and considerably more expensive... but solid stem can be controlled easier in a solid roller application than hydraulic. You still want to minimize weight, but not at the expense of durability.

Yeah Gavin told me no way would he use a hollow stem for solid. So far it's doing fine.
We been talking about future plans on his br3 270 cc port. It will be titanium 2.20 valve size when he releases them

I seen the tips break off on hollow stems from high spring pressure

Good information.
It's finally starting to sound that I have the correct valvetrain setup.

More confident feeling I would say.
There won't be any valvertrain related issues or timing issues after this.
But we need to wait and see what happens.
I should have an update in the next few days.
