Yes I know.
I confirmed just now that pushrods have been ordered.
They ended up being 3/8 .138 wall at 8.4 inch length.
No way we could get those 7.800 pushrods to fit.
At least there won't be anything wrong pushrod related.

So they ended up ordering 3/8” diameter pushrods? I thought they said they wouldn’t fit.

Well, he originally said they wouldn't fit.
When he fitted the lifters and longer pushrods these altered the angles which now allows a 3/8 pushrod to fit.
Crow cams sent him the wrong pushrods too.
They sent 80 wall instead of 138 wall.
They are resending the correct pushrods on Monday.

I know they are ok to use and would be fine.
The reason why I requested the changeover, because these pushrods my tuner ordered, I found the same exact same pushrods on ebay for $50 USD less for a whole set.
However, I didn't check till after he ordered them direct from crow.
Now that I hear that they sent him the wrong thickness, I can't bear to hear that not only did I pay more than I had to but that they are the thinner version also.
Swap over obviously is free so I want to do it that way.

I have a quick question.
What is the max RPM limit you can spin my engine?

That's more related to the cam and complete valve train combo isn't it?

That would definitely have something to do with it but it's also the intake as well.
I'm wanting to know what the rpm the engine itself and it's internals can rev out to safely.

Another update guys.
Just heard from my tuner.
Engine is finally together and running.
He marvelled at how quiet the valvetrain is with that low lash solid roller.
He followed cam motions lash settings. 0.00 cold.
However, tune is way off and needs a lot of work and he can't do a preliminary run to see where it's at yet.
Looks like it will be completed in the next day or 2.
I'm in for results.

You are likely fat down low and thin up top. Wait till they tell you how Amazeballs it sounds at full power. Nothing quite like it.

If anyone tries to tell you valve float now, they are full of ****

So the solid roller sounds that much better than a hydraulic?
How would it sound better?
There will be no such thing as valve float now that's for sure.
I think the issue all along was a mismatch of parts.
The rockers, springs and camshaft did not go well together and were causing valvetrain harmonic issues hence the lower power figure.

It will have more bite to the exhaust note. It will WANT to rev. Hard to explain, but my guess is you will hear from them as they tune it in how much gooder it sounds.
