New stroker has arrived!
Final specs:
1) 447 cubic inch shortblock from Texas Speed , 4.155 bore x 4.125 stroke with 12.5 to 1 compression.
2) Wiseco -2.8 cc pistons with tool steel wrist pins.
3) K1 technologies crank/rods.
4) Aluminum block with Darton Sleeves.
5) ATI Harmonic balancer.
6) Trick flow Genx 255 ls3 heads with ferrera hollow stem valves, .650 lift springs, titanium retainers.
7) LS3 rocker arms with Chris Straub bushings.
8) .623/.623 lift, 247/261 duration, 113 + 4 lobe seperation. Hydraulic roller cam from Comp.
9) Lod Speedworks intake.
10) Nick Williams 102mm throttlebody.
11) FIC 85 pound injectors.
12) E85 fuel on a 450 lph pump.
13) Hedman Hustler 1 7/8 long tube headers.
14) Fti powerglide with custom 1st gear ratio.
15) Fti 8" stall converter.
16) 8.8 rear end with 4.30 gears.

Old build the crank ate up the duration, needed a bit more 7500 ish peak, also Ls3 heads and fast style intakes aren't best for a track setup it needs a carb style intake. Fills the cylinder better. Cathedral heads work better with plastic intakes and track duty. Camaros TFS heads and fast, well known for 9's. But with the larger combo it doesn't matter with what you've got.
