Not being naive at all. Its definitely possible. I just don't see your combo doing it. With no power adder, dished pistons, low timing, only spinning it to 7500, and heads that big. The heads would be hurting you more than helping you. Whats the compression? I would be surprised its even 11:1 with those dished pistons. I know many people that have 434's and 427's including myself and no one is breaking 800. Several of us have the CID intake as well. Ours has a 1100 dominator on top too. We all have very good flowing aftermarket heads too with way more compression. You would have to spin the **** out of it to hit those numbers with your combo. I was born on a day and i sure as hell wasn't yesterday. The track always tells the truth, period.
How much timing do you think a pump gas engine with a fast chamber needs?
Why would the “big” heads hurt it? What makes them big?
It only made 1.44/in torque. How much do you think it was “manipulated”?
Because you and your friends can’t do it, that means it can’t be done?
Im not a hater just a realist. Do you guys believe everything anyone posts reguardless.? My one buddy has a motor built by Butler Performance. It's a 427 and it only topped out at 780hp. It runs pretty incredible at the track. Our motor was built by Borowski Race engines but it's a spray motor. It topped out at 706hp with 616tq. With an all motor cam I still don't believe it would break 800 unless we boosted the compression to 14 or 15:1. It runs pretty incredible at the track. Especially on spray and that is all that counts to me. People can race their dynos and we will keep racing at the track. No matter what the excuse is. The weight of the vehicle does play a huge part but can easily be calculated to figure it out so you can't use that one. If that motor has 13.5 or more compression then I am wrong and I stand corrected.
So what is it OP? Are those pistons domed or dished. We have diamond nitrous pistons and are at 12.2:1 compression. They have a -3cc dome and sure don't look like the other ones pictured to me.
BTW...if my teacher said its correct ... Blank anybody on this site who says Different...you don't have to look or ask about a record.... Championship's speaks Volumes.

Looks can be deceiving.
I'll gladly race any donkey car you mention above on motor on the street. Name the $$$

Soon as I read that I gave up. Zero respect for ken. ZERO.

I have an engine for a customer that I did that is 12.5-1 and makes 2.10/in. It runs 5.80’s @ 2850lbs with no power adders. It has factory casting ls3 heads too.
Again, because you’re not doing it doesn’t mean it can’t be done. Spend a little more time critiquing your stuff instead of everyone else’s and you might make some progress.
If you stay stuck in the “I can’t” and “it can’t”, you never will.
Exactly my point. Although my engine puts up good numbers it's hardly the end all be all combo. Imagine what Ttur would think if I told him Bammann built a 400ci SBC that ran 7's almost 20yrs ago at 3k+ lbs..or the GM headed BBC that ran 7.50's on 10.5's......ahh the good ole NSCA days
Ken is the son of the people who bought Boro--- Race Engines. I had terrible experience with him 2yrs ago and I'll leave it at that. He bashes every engine builder who makes more than him and let's just say he is super dishonest. Don't want to get more into it as he's the type to send a cease and desist letter to you.

I don't like people of that character.
I also think that sending letters for those purposes is a low act.

I called bullshit on a YouTube video of theirs. Claimed their 408 made a ridiculous amount of horsepower and no where near backed it up on video at the track in that dodge Dakota truck of the sons.
