I finally got the Hooker to the track and it was good news/bad news. The bad news 1st: I broke the differential in the burnot box. Also the tuner had set my my rev limiter to 7k instead of 8k and neglected to tell me.
Now for the good news: everything in the suspension is new but it launched wonderfully and goes straight. The travel limiters did a great job and I only pulled the wheels about 6".
The truck hit the 7k rev limiter on the 1-2 shift, and then hit it again on the big end and I had to let out of it way before the traps, and still went 10.03 coasting through the lights @ only 124mph.
We are repairing the rearend now and adjusting the rev limiter to 8k so I can get a good full pass on it. The tuner is gonna data log it and then make some final tune adjustments.
This HPR 468 pulls through the midrange like nothing I've ever experienced before, I can't wait to see how far in the 9's she runs on a good full clean pass

I have the "Hollow valve upgrade" with my Mamo 265 heads. Not sure exactly what valves, that's the whole description.

edit…meant to say first Ferrera valve like this (hollow stem) I’ve seen break a stem.
