3.5in from the collector back. It necks back down to 3in at the exit, which you can see in one pic. The 3.5in section will get extended rearward when we actually tie the corsa back in but he just cut in front of the merge and pulled it all forward for now.

Finally, some very promising data. Here is my first 60-130, ever. Not bad, but looking closer, the car is absolutely ripping. The 60-120 time 0.3 faster than others who have gone 5.80 with 1 shift and pulling 3rd to 8000rpm. My 4.46 to their 4.76. Car is on pace 5.50s at nearly full weight, on 28in bias plys, shifting 500rpm early twice, with 96-97kpa map reading and with room for the AFR to be ironed out. Most guys are on 26in radials and have velocity stacks to flirt with 5.50 - 5.80s in good air.. and I'm not shitting on them by any means, I'm just really stoked that the car is performing at this level with significant changes still to be made! Especially after the bullshit over the last few months.

(I made this dragy pull while collecting data to work on AFR and timing.. and i had no idea what it would do. I'll make a pull wrapping 3rd all the way to 8k at some point! And for those not familiar with dragy, 5.50-5.80 pretty reliably translates to 142-145 mph trap speed)

Track tomorrow. Won't have unicorn air but the goal is just to make clean passes!

My dragy

5.80 comparison from a similar car

And my log so you know I'm not bs'ing the room to grow part..

There is only one thing Mike got wrong.. it was a GREAT day.

3rd pass of the day, first time it hooked and made a full pass. Car goes 10.05 @ 142. So pissed at the ET and yet so happy with the MPH. 142 on 28s is flying in this air! (1500-1600DA all day)

After a bunch of 10.0s and spinning in between those, i waited for the only re-prep of the day. I broke through, i finally broke through. 6000rpm leave

Had to back it up right? 6200rpm leave

Wanted this slip since i got Trans Am in my sig. I got that car when i was 16 and i am 34 now. That turbo build was supposed to get me one of these slips, but as soon as i finished the car in 2016, this vette came up for sale through a friend. Sold the Trans Am to get the Z06 i always wanted but i knew i just restarted the clock on getting this slip. Drove me NUTS ever since. Finally got it.

After I got the 9.8 pass, i wanted to go for more but the track was gone. Couldn't find a tight spot on the track and it spun twice in a row with the 2 step moved 6500rpm - i was the only one making passes at this point in the day lol. So i loaded it up and went home happy.

The car itself was absolutely flawless. Checked lash yesterday and it's all tight, which feels amazing after this summer's saga. Super encouraged by the 142mph and i originally thought i lost the mph cus the air got worse through the day (I lost 1kpa up top from 98 to 97kpa by the end of the day), but in my blitz to make passes, i realized i peanut butter spread a timing reduction of 2 degrees from 5600rpm up. i should have just addressed the one spot i was after and rolled the rest back in. But i never went back adjusted anything once i saw fueling was now spot on in the logs and i got stuck in 10.0 purgatory. Car was making enough to get where i wanted so i left good enough alone. But thats why we data log!

Only weight reduction is the drag pack, no front sway bar, and no exhaust. Plenty of room for improvements all around, that is for sure.

And i mentioned before that my old setup went 10.5@130 with a 1.47 60ft on these exact same tires/gears and track, 2 years ago in 1100DA. the fact that it picked up 12mph to go 142 on the same drivetrain and exact same 60ft just goes to show that 140whp pick up on the dyno was real. (There is obviously some loss going from hard tires on the dyno to bias plys). Couldn't be happier with that!

Couldn't tell you. But when i weighed it years ago, it was 3350 with me in and i am 200lbs. Not much at all has changed weight wise since then. But with the exhaust being off the car, i would have to assume the car with a half tank that i race with is 3250-ish in it's current form with me in it.

Thank you all!

I'm just kind of bitching about the air since i purposely wait for fall to try and get the good stuff. Made those dragy hits in -700 DA air and I wanted something close to that on Saturday.. lol. I really think I can scratch 145 as she sits.. we'll see if I can make another trip before the snow flies.
