New engines in 2007????? I will need a new engine for my offroader during May 2007. I was thinking of a LS 2 400-425. Are there any new alloy engine coming on the market next year? I heard about a new LSX? Details? thanks
If your looking for an all aluminum engine that can make awesome power then I would def go with the LS2 block. Most sponsors have a stroked 402 ls2 short block for around $4000 depending on the internals you want. Is it going to be NA or will you be adding any FI in the future?

The latest is still in finalization (IE L92 heads and stroker setups). It's so new that Dyno numbers aren't available just yet, optimized cam's are still being flesh'd out.
Just look at the different posts on L92 414, 416, 418 blocks and L92 heads (ported, unported etc) and you can take a guess at how new this stuff is.

I started a big thread on this the other night which makes for a good read. This FREAKIN Block is GOING to ROCK and I am PUMPED ABOUT IT and just might go back to a huge cubed N/A LSX Powerplant (where my heart really is)!!

Also, this new ironblock LSX motor with was featured at SEMA as REGGIE JACKSON teamed up with warren johnson and dropped the first LSX motor into reggie's g-machine 69 camaro and which obviously is running a MILD cam and compression to be making only 641 at the crank (which is still very respectable) and what a GORGEOUS 69 Camaro.
