Default Buying a cam for my C6 Z06!!

What's up guys. Some of you may know Eric from ET cylinder heads. Very knowledgeable guy. He can get me a cam kit for about $750, that includes the cam, new valve seals, rods, springs, etc..

My question is, since I am not very good at this and just starting to learn, is this considered a big cam for the LS7? I don't, DON'T want my car to sound nasty. A little loud is ok, but not like nasty loud. The specs of the cam are:

238/246 on a 114 LSA with a .649 lift.

Any opinions, or any sound clips that would let me have an idea of what a cam of this size/specs will sound like on my car?

TIA

That is what I want to hear. I got a great deal on this cam, I just want to make sure it's not nasty loud at idle. Like I said, I don't mind a little lope (just a little), but i don't want it sounding like the old muscle cars. Maybe if I can find a link to what I want my car to sound like, I can post it.

Actually I have a somewhat similar cam in a 7.0 we are playing with right now and extended the offer to come have a listen and go for a drive. Not recomending anything. Just offering a cam selection helping hand. Nothing more nothing less.

I'm not local Sean. So what would your choice be?

I have this cam in my L92/L76 408 ...... test drove the car a little ago for the first time (i'll make a thread in the next couple of days) and it feels great. SLIGHT slight lope but VERY very torquey

Good to hear guys. I have spoken to a few people and they all have been telling me that this is going to be a great cam for my car with good power and not too much noise. If I can get to 530 rwhp with Kooks Long tubes, x pipe, deleted cats, this cam, intake and a tune, I will be a happy camper. Only time will tell. I will keep you updated.
