I finally got my 403 running last night and heres a video for you guys. Once everything was installed, it fired right up the first time, and followed Xtreme Horsepower Solutions directions as to seating the rings for the first time. Then I let the computer learn the idle a little bit. Once everything was in and working, i realized my slave cylinder had gone bad (i think from when i pulled the LS6 out)
because i'll be spending to day, pulling out the whole drivetrain in the vette to get to the slave
All in all... this thing sounds amazing. If i get everything done today... It will be final tuned and i'll have #'s tommorow.
LS2 403

L92 Heads untouched with 921 springs
L76 Intake untouched aswell

I'm not sure what the idle is set at. It's just got a basic tune to get me to the shop to get it REALLY tuned. When it idled on its own, it was at about 950.
As far as break in, I was told that when it fires for the first time, make sure within 3-5 seconds it gets oil pressure, and take it up 2000-2500 RPMs. Then leave it there varying it between till it reaches normal operating tempature. Then shut it off, let it cool completely down, like over night. When it first started up, it was smoking a little out the exhaust but it went away with in about 5 minutes. Today, i should do the same thing again. Once its cooled down a 2nd time, it will be ok to drive to the shop to get the final tune.

that "smoke" was condesation from the air...cuz it was cold in the garage/outside. it did go away as soon as the pipes warmed up.
there was NO smoke coming outta the exhaust from the rings or the such
