L92 vs. LS2 v. LQ9 (500rwhp DD)
Are there any advantages/disadvantages that one of these setups has over another in terms of making at least 500rwhp through an A4 daily driver?
1. 418 L92 block, L92 heads, L76 intake
2. 402 LS2, L92 heads, L76 intake
3. 408 LQ9, AFR 225s, ported FAST 90/90
Obviously cam choice has a lot to do with it and there is still testing going on with the L92s but I wanted on some preliminary opinions on what set up is better suited for my application. I've looked through the dyno section and see M6's clearing the 500 mark with 408s but not too many A4s with the L92 setup.

A TFS/ET/AFR head with a Fast 90 is going to make more power then a L92...
Seems like Vengeance just posted a 402 M6 mail order combo that made almost 550 RWHP, so over 500 RWHP with a A4 should be easy.

So, at this point I guess I am crossing the FAST 90 off my list if they are that restrictive.

What intake would you run instead?
You know Vengeance also had a stock shortblock 5.7 engine with a killer set of LS6 heads, Fast intake and their cam make 480 RWHP...so over 500 RWHP with a 402/TFS 225/Fast 90 is easy.

I guess if a Fast 90 setup gets my goal then it shouldn't matter. I just don't like knowing there is more left on the table.
Maybe one of those nice sheet metal intakes with ceramic coating if my wallet really needed to lose weight.
