I know TSP sells already ported heads. I would assume they would port a set too...

WKMCD: West Coast Heads do not list a price for their ported L92 heads on their website, what do you think that it is?

Our L92 pricing ranges between $1731.0-$1830.00 per pair depending on valves and springs used. The heads we sell for $1830.00 are ezuipped with REV stainless steel valves and Partiot Extreme dual springs.
REV now has a hollow stem intake valve (pnX1064) that weighs in at 90gms. I should have final pricing on these valves shortly.

We're doing them, 370cfm at .700 lift. Price range from $1650.00 to $1850.00 depending on the valves and springs you want. If you would like to see a flow sheet let me know and I'll e-mail you one.

Thanks,
Harold

We offer cnc l92 porting for $1499 outright! If you have new castings we can just do a exchange on your cores! These cylinder heads feature Manley or Rev valves & PRC .660" lift springs!

You can upgrade to the new Rev hollow stem valves for only $75 more!!

Livernois, Texas Speed, Port Pros, WCCH's, and HKE Racing Engines guy Greg Good....

they all have/do port L92's....... i honestly dont think it really makes a huge difference on who does the heads. As long as the exhaust work is extensive... finding a intake to keep up with the intake side of the head is near unobtainable. My GG heads are good for a solid roller 454 motor so I hear!

I want you to think about that statement. Then call Greg and tell him that. Honestly it matters to you who does the heads, because I know Greg is not the least expensive option out there.

IMHO, who does the heads is all that matters. Almost any monkey with a dremel can go to work on those heads and pick up 25 cfm, but you know what, they will lose HP. If you want to bench race, lets at least bench race HP and not flow numbers.

This was not directed at you specifically, just I have seen this attitiude quite a bit and I just can't understand it..

What about exhaust numbers on all of these ported heads?? I always see the intake flownumbers thrown around, but you still have to get the combustion gases out....

There is more to porting a set of heads then just the cfm total you see on a flow bench. I know Greg Good; he is one of the better head porters out there. I also consider myself one of the better head porters on this board. I think most guys get caught up in the cfm flow and forget about the quality of the work being done.
Both Greg and I do our heads by hand, I not sure about Greg but I believe like us he flows every set of heads he ports. It makes a big difference.

Greg and I compete in the Viper world as well, if you ask him you will hear good things about Port Pros LLC. The motors we build make very good power, take a look at our website we have many videos and examples of the work we do.

The cnc guys can produce a good product for less $ then us smaller shops, but everyone gets the same head. If you want something with attention to detail, a head that is ported and flowed for your car, go with me at Port Pros LLC or Greg Good. You won't be disappointed.

You will spend a bit more $ but you'll get a custom job done with your set up in mind.

Thank you very much. I agree with you. You can gain or lose 20 hp and never move the flow 1 cfm.

Ain't that the truth!

Folks are still learning what makes L92 and LS7 heads work. From what I've seen they like things a bit different from almost any other GM heads. If you are going for big power, the heads present you with some other engine challenges. That makes it all the more fun!

Here's some dyno results from installing PRC cnc ported 6.2l heads over stock out of the box 6.2l heads! nearly 20hp gains for very little extra $$$$!!
