Congrats on the power!!! It's nice to see these combinations getting ready for Memphis.
We have been on the dyno again and will also be testing on Tuesday.

I look forward to seeing some great numbers this weekend from everyone

Simply insane!

This just shows that there is no reason to go to an automatic tranny.

You can run numbers with a 6spd if you know how to shift!

Congrats Amber and Joe! Can't wait to see what she does at the track!

Well, for gods' sakes, somebody in the Houston area drive over there and help them get their **** uploaded. Crikey. There's gotta be someone on 'Tech that can drive over there real quick and get it posted in like 10-20 minutes total for crying out loud.

EDIT: And, when you ask nicely like that, you're sure to get a response!

Track update:

Made 3 1/8 miles passes this afternoon and she went faster than she ever did. On the bumper shifting only to 3rd gear it went 5.79@118mph. Our fastest to date was a 5.85@116 I think. We are going to make a few more hits tomorrow after we get the alignment done. The thing wanted to pull left so we just dropped it off with Matt and will have it back at 9am tomorrow.

What kind of 60' times would that monster be laying down? After you drop an 8 second time slip down on the table do you have any interest in putting in a powerglide and taking the NA LSX record too?

I'm guessing something in the 1.3X 60 foot range.

Money says no LOL. They own a Six Speed rebuilding company, not sure if that would make a good billboard for them.

I don't think a glide would be much faster than a proshifted 6 speed car, IMO.

60 ft on the 5.79 was a lazy 1.31 and it did a huge bog wheelie, which is not good for ET.
