Who has one? What does your set up look like? What is a big cam that works well with nitrous?

We've done tons of the 418 short-blocks with great results. I personally like the 251/259 camshaft, but we've also put together a 248/256 camshaft on a 114 that would work really well with a little bottle behind it...

I had read a little about the 251/259; people seem to like it. I know you guys like the PRC L92 heads. Have you seen any 418s with the TFS 235's or 245"s; what did you think? How about the PRC LS7 heads? Any with the above mentioned cams?

Will the LS7 heads even work on the L92 blocks? IE Valve clearance...

the ls7 valve will clear the bore by .050,but i dont think they would flow too well,lots of shrouding

your 251/259 cam, what lift And lobe is it? What type of power did it put to the wheels N/A? I am thinking of getting one, but dont know what cam.

I have a Crane Cam in my 418cid. 250/266-651/651-112 but my displacement is a little differant than Texas Speed ,Mine is a LS2 4.030 bore & 4.100 stroke i dont know if that makes any differance, But i love the way the cam pull on top end and with nitrous.

No times yet, 4:30 gears and 315/35/17 tires ,The motor is real strong and massive low end and mid range

LME complete 416 L92 setup, 530hp/518tq on 28 degrees timing with a 244/254/112 cam.I keep wanting to put the bottle on to chase some liter bikes down, but I'll need a major fuel upgrade or a standalone from what I have now.
