Latest recommendation is: 228/236, 63X lift, 114 + 4
edit: with 1.8 rockers

Would like to do something like this to feed it if I can find a custom intake builder.

I talked with Magna Charger yesterday and was told this 2300 setup is not availabe for sale yet. What gives?? Also, what compression are you running? I know the maggies like more than the prochargers.

Last time I spoke with them the 2300/L92 system was due out next month-depending on who you spoke with. According to Callaway an LS7 version is at least a year away. I was told that the 2300 head units are available.

I was thinking twin 1900's would be nice as I require a custom intake anyway for my LS7 style heads. Either that or spin up a 2300 on a custom intake.

I believe my static CR works out to somewhere around 8.9:1 but the 1000HP Solstice shown above was supposedly at 9.5:1. The new LS9/R2300 Vette is at 9.8:1 but I think the PCM can cut boost if there is any knock. Seems to me I read that somewhere anyway.

Late Model Speed makes a kit with a different intake piece to fit their head units. Trying to get a hold of Ed Potter to see if he can get his hands on a 2300 and if it would work with his manifold lower piece. Love the torque of the maggie vs the peak hp of the procharger and the sound isn't bad either.

Isn't that intake for cathedral port heads? If it is made for the 112, the 1900 might bolt right on, but the 2300 has a longer outlet/different bolt pattern. See page 36 of the catalog for the specs on the various head units: http://www.magnacharger.com/pdf/catalog.pdf

Late update:

Ended up with 228/236 .595/.600 114 LSA, advanced 4. Still some body and intake work to do, but it runs.
