Anyone running LG Motorsports G6X3 cam w/L92 heads?
I'm looking to try this G6X3 cam over my bigger 248/254 615/605 112lob cam to see if it will gain me more mid power and tq over the cam I have now. I was told I should only loose 2-3hp on the topend and I may not loose even that but gain alot in the midrange. Any info, motor size, how it drives(like I care about drivability) dyno #'s or sheets and E.T will be a big help. I already ran a 10.86@128mph,If this cam gives more mid maybe I can go quicker. I have a 402ci w/ported l92's stock l76,m6 w/4.11's. Thanks, Mike c.

While its duration numbers are indeed much smaller than the ones you have listed, its lift numbers on the intake are bigger than I personally wanted to run on my car. I had this cam and returned after having it cam doctored. These heads like bigger lifts, but the intake lift on this cam was more than I was after. Then again, I am much more conservative than most plenty of people on this board.

FWIW, I was told by Louis that their cams are optimized for their headers. Being that the largest they make is 1 and 3/4, keep that in mind.
Based on this ( and several other factors) My 454 LS7 LG spec'd cam and C6LT headers/x-pipe are up for sale....

While its duration numbers are indeed much smaller than the ones you have listed, its lift numbers....especially for the intake are tremendous and much more than I personally would want to run on my car. I had this cam and returned it as soon as I had it cam doctored. You don't need big lifts or giant durations to make good power with these heads. Then again, I am much more conservative than most and there are plenty of people on this board running .650+ lift cams on their DD's.
Mike, where did you dyno? I'm guessing it was at Vector Motorsports.

I will be installing and dynoing this cam(in a few weeks),after I'll share the results. I have to trust louis(LG) I've been a customer for sometime and think he knows more then I do on cams. I was just looking for feed back on this cam from others who are running it.

BTW: To the OP - that cam described by Louis is a much better cam for the L92 setup than you are running now. Just make sure if you dyno it to do it on that MD. That is one happy dyno.
