Hey guys,

Just joined up since im looking to buy an ls1 f car. Trying to find something for around 7 to 8 grand so it will have to be a 98 or 99 im guessing. There are pros and cons to the 6 speed and the a4 so i dont really car which one it will be.

Any suggestions will help.

Thanks guys

welcome to the site Moe!! You're definitely lookin for a 98 if you need it to be around 8 grand, unless you're ok w/needin some body work. Good luck with your search!! Check out the vehicle classifieds.

Transmissions adn any other option are obviously personal opinion, but I wouldn't trade my M6 for the world. I love it. I don't race much, and it is much more fun to drive

Thanks for the replys guys. I agree that an m6 is much more fun to drive. My bros 95 trans am with heads/cam is fast but it is an a4 and it isnt too much fun to drive, but then again he has the stock stall.

I have to go for under 8k because the bank wont give me a loan for over 5k and that means the rest has to be a down payment and ive only got 1500 saved so far.

Welcome.. there are a ton of good deals as well for you car EVERYWHERE... some of the rarest F-bodies around are still at dealerships and they know they are not worth anything too....

good luck on your hunt!
