I think I've picked out some wheels.
I found these on tirerack.com, what do you guys think?
MODA MD5
18 x 8 inches - $179/wheel
Offset: +40mm Backspacing: 6.10" Bolt Pattern: 5-115
19 x 8.5 inches - $149/wheel
Offset: +40mm Backspacing: 6.37" Bolt Pattern: 5-115
Question though, what is the centering ring and a retaining clip for AL-P ring for?

Well other manufacturers have claimed that their wheels are hubcentric and will work with our w-bodies but go to the ASA sticky at the top of our section and learn of the possible danger of installing wheels without a small spacer or a centering ring.

Thanks for the info Nacho. I read about the ASA wheels. I'm hoping these wheels here do not have that issue.

pro_performer what you will need to do(like in my case) mount the wheels up and torque them down. Then take a feeler gauge and run it between the wheel(hub mounting surface) and the rotor hub surface, if there is a gap...you will need a spacer like I did. Even as tiny as a piece of paper. Trust me. Or you could just let me know when you get the wheels and we can check it out. Up to you.

By the way thats a good looking wheel. What size are you going with? The 19's would look sweet on a lowered car.

Aftermarket wheels tend to have a larger center bore, thus the hub centric rings. Its not necessary to run them but it does help with vibrations and helps the wheel make contact with the hub.
