Default Superchips Cortex 1/4 mile accuracy

I've fiddled with the 1/4 mile and 0-60mph datalogs with my Cortex, and never thought that they'd be accurate

Well I went to the track last week and tried it out

4 of 5 runs were within .10 of my actual time. One run I spun quite a bit and it logged a 13.9 @ 99 when I actually ran 14.3 @ 99.

The mph's read about 2-3mph too high, but to my suprise the 1/4 mile logger was within a tenth 80% of my runs.

The gas mileage didn't change much, if any. It went down 2-3mpg when I turned AFM off though.

Overall I like it, but I'd much rather go with HPtuners and a dyno tune.

I wouldn't say it isn't worth the money. The gains can be felt, I went with it because it was easy. If you can find one used for a good price go for it.

I go to data logging, and it does the same with 0-60 and 1/4mile. I select it and it says top vehicle to initalize the run or press ok to abort. I have stopped the car even put it in park and back to drive made a run and screen still says the same thing. I have pressed all the buttons and the only thing i can do from there is abort.

That's weird. When I do it, it says the run will start after the car is stopped. Once I stop, it automatically starts when I start moving.

Yeah mine doesnt. Just wanted to know that it works for someone else. I emailed Superchips and have Ken's personal number. I might call him up if the tech support doesnt get back to me soon.
