Also, I had to chuckle a little bit regarding AG's statement.

2006 Impala SS
I love this car! Picked it up on the 8th and took it to Lapeer Dragway on the 21st! Air was good at 46 degrees, but track was cold and unprepped. First run was a dissappointing 14.85, but with tire pressure and launch adjustments, I wittled it down to this before they closed the track early due to only seven of us running:
60 foot................2.407
1/8 mile...............9.410
1/8 mile mph........78.69
1/4 mile...............14.254
1/4 mile mph.........99.38
The car is factory stock with BFG KDWS tires. This pass was made with the traction control on, which seemed work the best. Unfortunately, the racing season is pretty much over for the year, so the car will have to wait til spring for more thrashing.

I've been a fan of these cars since they came out, but finally made the move to own one. I also have an LT1 Formula, but this car is so much more comfortable, the Firebird may sit even more than it does already!
I'm looking forward to seeing how others are modifying these front drivers to make them perform better! I like the idea of bolting on drag radials to the front, but kind of concerned with the strength of the transaxle.
