Pt# on tb RME87-3C9992
I think all of the 09-10 Silverado TB are the same.

Not worth the hassle, my modified power steering pump is leaking from the weld, I would have to redo the wiring harness on the front of the motor, and cut and modify the hood bracing.

I sold the intake but I still have the tb and and plug end (you would have to remove LS4 tb plug and repin) for sale $125 shipped.

I think the best bang for the buck on an intake swap would be a LS2 intake with this tb.

Tpis ls6 with the 90mm ls2 flange.
I keep telling everyone this... Ls6 out preforms the ls2.
Stock injectors can be used with fic
Adapters/spacers, which enables stock pigtails.

I'm wrong I thought the LS2 intakes was selling for $50, but it's closer to $200.

I thought everyone already knew the LS6 was the best.

Back from the dead

You were so close!

The wiring harness was too short?

For some odd reason I've been looking into toyota mr2 electric power steering pumps. When I got my trans built Dave replaced my motor mount that was messed up for awhile. So idk if there is clearance for the TBSS intake, so maybe the regular truck intake? And the fast intakes? But idk what I'm doing? I picked up my GMC a couple months back, and I want to set it up do do a couple of truck pulls next year. And I just picked up a 88 GTA off a friend that I want to set up for road courses. So the GXP maybe on the back burner for awhile?

Back from the dead - about how much clearance is needed for the hood? Just thinking the 3800SC guys use cradle spacers to fit large intercoolers under the blower..

It was close, just needed to modify the brace. But like I said idk if the bad motor mount made the engine sit lower?

Absolutely. IMO though The ls2 intake trumps the work involved and performance.
