Default Intake and cam swap

So Im planning an intake and cam swap on my GXP as well as DOD delete. I will be using a LS1 cam and intake. I know why would I use a LS1 cam because it's free. I'm not looking for huge numbers main reason for the swap is to get rid of DOD and the truck sound lol. Anyways, I know there was someone that figured out how to get a different TB to work with our cars but it was a 102mm is there another TB we can use? If not is anyone still making a TB adaptor? Now to the DOD delete new lifters, valley tray, and ls6 oil pump. Is there anything else needed for it?

Yes the ls2 works as well there are plenty of ls1 to ls2 adapters on ebay so if you were to save up up for a ls2 TB as well it would work just fine, but for the stock ls4 tb i think brian396 still will make them not sure, pm him The rest of the info is all through this forum already just search.

Since you are deleting the DoD, the LS2 intake and LS2 throttle body are bolt ons. Just need the LS2 pigtail(GM# 13504128) leave 2 wires disconnected and flip the TPS wires. Then stick with the LS4 fuel rail and LS4 injectors with a set of $50 injectors spacers
http://www.ebay.com/itm/CBM-10833-LS7-to-LS2-injector-spacer-kit-o-ring-adapter-/221060839390?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item337840b7de&vxp=mtr
and four 5/8" spacers (aluminum - McMaster.com part #92510A802 or Nylon #94639A851).

While doing it, might as well upgrade to the 5 wire 85mm MAF (pigtail #15305932)

E40 for the Pre 2007 LS4's
E67 for the 2007+ LS4's

I am pretty sure the first guy (fieroaddiction) to swap the LS2 intake/TB to an LS4 used the E40 ecm.

Ahhh ok, I think I'll stick with the ls1 intake but I might do the ls2 TB and 85mm MAF. Can't see spending $400 on another intake and $200 more on a TB. Can I use the LS4 rail and injectors with the spacers on the LS1 intake?

I just wanted to let you all know, this thread is a WIN. Great info here.

I will also be changing cam and intake and was wondering on what TB to run. I'll be going with a more agressive cam than factory and deleting DOD and all it's parts.
