Default As close to an old Chevy Pickup as I can get!

Got my Hogan pipe heres the latets and probably the last alteration to the exhaust system that I am going to do. FYI I ran the engine without the down pipe....Yuck LOL. My Final setup is the stock system with Hooker Aero Chamber Mufflers, Hogan 3inch catalyst down pipe and no resonator replace with 2 feet of 409 stainless. I also installed a solid rubber transmission mount. Gives rigidity and response without vibration. Enjoy

Yeah the Down pipe definately works. Got some nice tire spin of down shifts to 1st that really weren't there, and 2nd gear WOT has more pull. The Down pipe adds more hidden notes of the engine. I'm going for that groggy Chevy V8 note like my old '94 Z28. LSX engines dont fire in that same order so it's alittle off from the mark but still very close. I will try to get a drive by sound clip tommorow. I've always though GM sport exhausts sounded good but they are really restrictive mainly though thier mufflers...

No it's not a problem the 2 top ones are the related threads, the two bottom are the actuall sound clips. The first clip has the stock setup and the mufflers after. The second clip has the muffler minus the resonator....Just be carefull of Bab's singing in the backround on the first one.... Batman! "Where does he get those wonderful toys???"
