More response out of the hole from the cai and the mufflers may have gave me a little top end while losing a little tq. I can now feel the dod go in and out. DOD must be a/f dependent because leaning the engine out from the modds, the DOD comes on earlier.

I have always liked the sound of flowmaster style less than any other muffler. They seem to always sound kind of empty.

What are you guys using for tips. I know this is personal preference but I'd like to stick with something pretty similar to stock. Everything I can find at local exhaust shops seem to look too "chincy" or over kill. I will be having my exhaust done very soon and wondered if there were any suggestions for an online source. BTW sounds pretty good!

Sounds good! Too bad you can't rev it past 3,500 or whatever it is. I'm so glad I tuned that crap out.

Hm. If you're looking for stock-looking tips, get some of the Magnaflow double-walled straight cut 3.25" tips. a quarter bigger than stock, but they're also chrome, so no one will notice unless they're really looking for it.

Here's a pic of the tips that Corny and I have:

We have a thread in here that tells the name and location of the part and pics of Corny's car, I have to go to work now so I don't have time to search for it.

fotoboy, what was the cost of the exhaust work if you don't mind me asking?

Also did you leave the resonators on?

100 for the huffers and 150 labor. You can get the huffers at jegs for 60 and save a little

Yea its killing me when i free rev it and i can only get it to 4000. I want to hear what my exhaust cutout sounds like free reving it to 6grand. Just don't want to pay for a tuner that i'm only going to use a few options in. I don't really want to mess with the transmission or anything due to the fact i've had such bad luck with the transmissions as it is.
