Hey, is it okay if I leave the stock exhaust with super 44's on? I'll cut out the resonator.
Thanks......and is the GXP 2.5inch to to the Y pipe and 2inch after?

Super 44's with stock piping wont be a problem. The stock exhaust is 2.25in. Super 44's with no res would be pretty loud, but if loud is what your going for, then it'll be perfect!

I just put a borla on my gxp on friday You could have somone weld them back on but if you look at the stock tips piping it isnt round its more oval so it would be harder to do,plus the piping is much smaller diameter than the rest of th exhaust i would buy some new tips these are what i got real nice http://www.pysales.com/iwwida.pvx?;i...0%201?comp=ppe

Yea , the flowmasters sound great on the outside but trust me don't put flowmasters on your car the constant roar in the car while on the interstate will give you a headache (IT'S SO FUC%#%# LOUD), it drove me fuc%$#% crazy, $250 strait down the *******, I put my stock exhaust back on about 3 weeks ago also removed the resionator, sounds great, plus the flowmasters will take ALOT of your low end power away, when I took off the flows and put the stock back on it was like a new car again.
I"m just trying to save you a little $$$$ and headaches

nah, I'm going to cancel my order at summit racing on the super 44's....I'm going to do the right thing and buy the magnaflow cat back later....after reading the threads people say that it sounds like **** and you lose low end power...but my car goes in the shop to get the resonator taken off. I just got a part time job at Canadian tire to buy toys for the car
......when I get the magnaflow cat back I will be taking the resonator off.

Sorry for posting lots, I think I'll go with Hooker aerochamber mufflers.....so the stock Y pipe is 2.25inch? It looks smaller. Part# 21501hkr
