Default WTT my 3.73 rear for a stock 3.23 or 3.42 rear end

Hey Guys,

I purchased my car with 3.73's in it and would like to have stock gears back (be it 3.23 or 3.42). I daily drive the car, plus im getting ready to go turbo, so i would like the lower gear to help spool the turbo.

I will do the swap straight up... and can even provide a facility to do the swap.

My rear end is in good shape...it has a bit of a wine to it but is mechanically very sound. I can take you for a ride in my car and you can see for yourself its in great shape and how lound the whine is.

We would just swap complete rear ends obviously (keep our own brakes and rotors... etc... just swap the rear ends themselves)

Im located in Southern Indiana - Zip is 47273

Yeah

Its worth it to me to not have the hassle of trying to track down a stock rear, buy it, then sell my rear end.

For this deal to happen the person has to be willing to come to my garage to do this. I dont have a truck so meeting halfway or something just wont work. Ideally i would also like to be able to ride in the persons car and make sure the rear end is solid and quiet... and they can also ride in mine so they know exactly what they are getting.

Not trying to pull a fast one on anyone here... my rear end is worth more but has a whine to it (as a lot of aftermarket gears seem to)... all i want is a quiet stock geared one in exchange.

I've got a stock set of 3.23's. I'll trade you. I can mail them to you, and you mail me your 3.73's. they fit nicely wrapped in paper towels in a big ziplock back (1 lb. i think) and then fit them in priority USPS box for $10 bucks!

I dont want to risk installing them incorrectly and having a whine guys.

Not trying to be hard to get along with... just want to do a direct swap and be done with it.

Where exactly are you at in southern Indiana? And do you know what brand of gears they are?

Just curious. You are going to a turbo setup which if I am playing my hunch right is to up the power level. What would make you want another 10 bolt? Take the parts you need and sell the rear for your 9" upgrade.

I have owned mine almost a year now and from things I read and researched here they are good 425 RWHP cars. Go over that and only smart to do rear, driveshaft, torque arm, etc...

I'm definitly interested and would be willing to drive to your place to get it done. I've got a very sound rear-end, no problems yet.
