Default FLT Level 5 Extreme Duty 4L65E Transmission

Decided to go with a T-braked TH400 since the car turned into a mostly track car on this build. Tranny was $2500 + core. Has LITERALLY 4 dyno pulls and 10 passes, 4 of which were partial shakedown passes. This thing is SOLID. Vince builds a crazy tranny. Has all of the regular Level 5 stuff plus billet servos and a standard 2wd tailshaft housing to clean up relo'ed torque arm cars, but you can swap your torque arm provision tail housing.

SOLD

sorry if these are dumb questions, but...

will this tranny bolt up to a stock 2000 z28 camaro? or will you need to modify some things? and what kind of Torque converter is on it and what is the stall on it?

thanks

To go on a stock vehicle, you would simply need to swap over your tailhousing or buy a torque arm relocation kit (every 3rd or 4th gen needs one if you ask me).

Here's the link to the converter that's for sale... https://ls1tech.com/forums/lsx-parts...ially-new.html

Nice price on the transmission, it should sell soon. I have a Vig 3200 converter and love it.

Thanks guys. I think it's a pretty damn good deal for a tranny that's about as close to new as possible without actually being so. Some real interested parties, but no $ yet . Converter is SOLD.

I told someone yesterday I'd go $1700 on the trans and throw in the new GM trans mount that went in when I installed it. It also has a B&M drain plug in the pan that I used for a tranny temp sender. I'm going to extend that offer to everyone. I can throw in the GM crossmember for those doing a conversion of sorts. That's about the best deal I can cut folks.

$1700 + shipping (includes receipt from FLT, new GM tranny mount and crossmember for those who need it)

I'm ballparking the size and weight, but it's looking to be in the $105-$125 range to the dock in Chi-town. So give or take...

Thanks! Guys, thanks for some of the IM offers, but I can't go any lower than $1700 + shipping... LOL! I already paid $800 to rent it for 30 minutes of seat time . I've already talked to Vince and for any less I'm going to send it in to get refitted to work in my TBSS and give the daily driver some hell.

According to Vince, it needs a few tweaks... So, no it's not a plug and play install.
