Default RevXtreme catch can

I've got a RevXtreme catch can that I have decided not to use. Rather, I will be just swapping to the LS6 setup. It is brand new with an integrated PCV valve. New they are $69 plus $15 shipping to the lower 48. I will sell this one for $69 and take care of the shipping so you'll save $15 over a new one. Can be seen in this picture.

What did you mean when you said you will be swapping to the LS6 setup? What does that have to do with not using this catch can? Reason I am asking is because I am considering purchasing one of these new from RevXtreme. They are $79 now though. Still very cheap compared to others.

You still need an effective oil seperating can with the LS6 valley cover. The cover is a great improvement in the baffel used to exit the gasses, but you will still pull in oil w/out an effective seperator.

lol wow this thread is back from the dead. Anyways, yeah man you can still use a catch can with the LS6 setup no problem. The reason I was not going to is because The RevXtreme catch can is very large as opposed to others on the market. I personally just didn't like the way it looked in there and wanted to get rid of it. The LS6 setup is a large step up from the stock system and will do fine in and of itself. No, you don't NEED a separator with the LS6 system as TLewis said but it will help control the oil consumption issues. I was fine with it pulling a little oil and removing that catch can cleaned up the bay a lot. My reasons were mearly cosmetic. You'll be fine using the catchcan with the LS6 setup. It'll be very effective.

Correct!

The RevX can is 1 qt as that is the minimum size for effective condensation to effectivly remove nearly all the oil, but it is harder to fit in tight places. It is designed for maximum functionality over appearance.

The road-race guy's really need a 1/2 gal capacity to eliminate the issue on their cars.

Look into the Mike Norris/CCA can for the best looking one that is still very functional for it's size (app 1/2 the RevX size).
