It's going good, I've lost interest in it lately and am waiting on some wiring adapters to come in so I can wire the BS3 with 84/89 connectors to LSx style connectors. I bought another project, a 67 C10, so most of my weekends have been spent working on that. As you can see it's physically in the car ready to go, just need to wire it up and run fuel lines for it to fire or at least attempt to fire, lol!

It looks real nice, a while back I was going to put a BBC in a 95 Z I had but had to give up the project. I had way too many projects, I've gotten rid of 4 in the last year.

Who's running a single plane, under a stock hood? How's the driveability with a SP on the street? (stop lights, etc?)

Mine is a BBC under the stock WS6 hood with the support cut out. I'm guessing that if I can do it with a BBC that you can do it with a SBC since it's a half inch shorter. Can't comment on the drivability thing though.

Hey Dave J, it looks like you've done it without chopping up the cowl. What manifold and elbow is that?

Here is mine

intake

spray bars

Mock up picture to show clearance...this does not require cutting the cowl and will be very close to clearing a stock hood. I have one customer that is using it with a stock hood. I have the LT1 Ram Air hood and still have room to mount the solenoids on top of the TB.

I noticed the 4500 flange right away. That's why I asked. From the sounds of things it looks like you're going to have one hell of a setup.

Yeah, its a pretty sweet setup. The World intake performs very well on big cubic inch small blocks. I went with the Dominator flange for more plenumn area. The runners actually measure larger than the Super Vic. Here are the in car pics. How the hell do you post pice full size like the above posts? Enjoy....
