Thats what i figured was making all the damn racket under my car...it sounded like the damn rear end was gonna fall out. i guess ill just have to get used to it or get some LCAs with poly bushings instead.

I dont have power steering and its really not that bad with the 245s in the front. Hopefully it will feel better with the skinnies though. Also pulled my front sway bar, i drive the car like a granny anyways unless its a straight line.

just a few updates on the car. I got the front frame horns cut out, radiator and stock fans out..putting a griffen and spal fan. Also changing out the opti, putting in a electric water pump and getting rid of the rest of the useless crap under the hood.

few pics

Total weight of the pile of junk is 28.5 pounds

Nice work! I just picked up a proportioning valve to get rid of my abs unit, so cant wait to get that gone. Did you have a plastic tube like thing right next to your radiator overflow underneath the passenger frame. Not sure what this goes to, was going to pull that and the horns.

Thanks...you think itll pass as a street car still? Your car is coming along nicely to. Did you ever get the new windshield for it?

Im getting ready to order a proportioning valve and line lock for mine to. Im just going to get the summit brand proportioning valve and make my own lines. The black tube thing is from what im told a vacuum canister for your HVAC system which is long gone in my car so i just threw it away.

Nice work. I trimmed my frame horns too. I plan on chopping the whole front off pretty soon. I just need to get some money saved up. I am going to have the guy who is going to do my cage TIG the front end together.

Just barely a street car lol, I'm still trying to convince myself that mine will be lol Nah, no windshield yet, need to hit the junkyards around here. I am waiting for the warmer weather and I'll start hitting the front end with a cut off wheel.

I tell myself that mine is a street car to...but its only time till the lie catches up with me lol. Some warm weather would be amazing right about now...this 28 degrees crap has gotta go. So what are you going to cut off the front of the camaro? Aren't you going to swap to a TH350?

3rdgen I like how your Formula weight project is going... I just retire from the Navy (Nov) and now live in Cheney. I did a lot of playing in San Diego and now that the weather is starting to come around I can't wait myself to hit the pavement and track at Spokane Raceway. We need to hook up, so I can check out the ride...

Thanks man. Hopefully the car is back together sometime in May. I still need to find a TH350 and converter for it. Im shooting for some 11s with a bolt on only car. Im gonna be bringing the car to my house here on base on wed. Fellow FBODY guys are always welcome at my house...as long as they drive LT1 cars
