You have to grind the calipers at all to get the wheels to fit? I know i was going to have to on my LS1 T/A to run my buddys slicks. Didnt know if the LT1s were more forgiving?

from what i have been told you dont have to grind the calipers with LT1 brakes. im running a spacer in the front because the wheel was hitting the little things that hold the brake pads on. as for the back i didnt have to grind them.

nothing like prostars on a f-body.... i wouldnt go with any other drag wheel.

beautiful man...

and yea i had to grind the fins but that was it... i also use a spacer on that front... oh make sure to remember to get longer studs or they prolly wont let u race... and no 2.5" wont work up front with the spacer not long enough but they will work in the rear.... but who the hell wants 2 diff sizes ont here car?

im doin my first "light wave" of weight reduction, i still plan to DD the car this summer so im not gonna go too extreme but im guessing next year i wont be so forgiving or maybe this year i will go crazy hehehehehe

i just put the 2.5in studs in earlier this week. im thinking i'm going to get rid of the spacers and just smash those fins that hold the break pad in so they dont hit the damn wheel.

I thought so, i already cut those off. If I remove the plastic under the nose and the air dam will the bumper still be on tight? I see that that the bottom bolts to the plastic pieces.

well i finally got some pics of the car yesterday after i took it for a spin around the neighborhood(spelling). Noticed some problems on its maiden voyage. Forgot to hook up the other end of the heater hose to the water pump...which resulted in a soaked opti spark. Also noticed that the new LCAs i put it are noisy as hell with the johnny joints. is this normal with these? and for the pics...

new front coilovers..QA1 R Series

Comp Eng rear shocks and LCAs

low mount alt.

and a couple shots of the new wheels 15x3.5, 15x8 with 275/60/15 et streets

I was thinking the same thing I would like to bring the front down about an inch i think it looks like a 4x4 So your going to take out all the A/C and stuff? Let me tell you turning at low speeds without powersteering is a PITA even with the skinnies up front.

Well maybe not everything....... We will see how the sickness effects me once I get started.
Oh take good b4 and after pics if you strip the door molding. Not sure if I like it with or without? For some reason everytime I see them removed, I think someone crashed the car and didnt replace them.

The power steering is going out in my 95. When I get up to go to work and it is 40 degrees out it doesn't work. Backing out of my driveway takes some serious effort.

Yes they are very very noisy. Thats why I did not use them on my car, they are just too bad for a street car.
