You start thinking, "What else can I cut out? How much does this weight? That shouldn't affect the structural integrity of the vehicle too much.... Should it? Oh well, I'll cut it out any ways."

well its finally going back to together. got the dash, clutch and alt bracket put on last night. with any luck itll be running today. ill get some pics of the progress.
I can tell you right now that you're not around 300 lbs.
Mines near 306 lbs, but that only includes the items I am not putting back in. Mine is still going to have the AC, PS, both stock front seats, and all the interior panels.

I need to try and get it off of there some how. It should be around 2900 lbs with me in it once it is operational. Eventually, I could get it down to 2650 retaining the amenitites I listed above by my calculations, but plans have changed and I'll be adding a few heavy objects.

Wow! its scary how similiar your build up is to mine! I removed all the stuff u had, my alternator setup looks identical, and you have the wheels i WANT!!
