Need help trouble shooting... Car dies after starting
Well to make a long story short, popped a head gasket last year, fixed it, tried getting ready for the shootout. I pulled the interior and gas tank out so the cage could get welded in. Added in a kmember and a few other goodies, but ran out of time to finish the car and got discouraged so I didn't finish putting it back together.
Well today a buddy and I put the tank back in, messed with it a while, charged the battery and fired her up. The car sounds good for a few seconds then dies. We put an old spark plug on one of the plug wires and the spark is very strong. We also tested the fuel pressure, and it stays around 45 psi. He seems to thimk that the injectors are shutting down. What would cause this problem? Any other suggestions are welcome as well.

What is done with the tune? Did you change anything like that?
I had this problem when I built my car from scratch... Brian at PCMforless.com disabled VATS in my mailorder tune but it still would start then die. The injectors were only pulsing for about 5 seconds. Apparently there is normal VATS and "Corvette VATS" When he disabled both it ran fine.
But either way this sounds like a VATS problem. If you don't have a noid light to test the injectors get a spare fue injector and plug it into an injector clip, fire the car up while holding the injector tightly in your hand, you should be able to feel it "click" a few times then stop....

Who tuned out VATS.... like I said when most tuners tune out VATS they do not tune out "corvette VATS" it usually does not affect F bodys. But it did mine! I know because after a 2 hour ride to PCMforless and him disabling corvette VATS my car started right up. He told me he never disables corvette VATS on F body tunes and never has a problem.
He said it may have been because I had a different year PCM and a different year engine harness in a different year car but i don't know...

I wouldnt change all the injectors out, unless you verified that ALL of them were failing. Does your SES light come on? Does it start hard? Is the fuel pressure effected, when the car dies?
