You are that retarded. What I state has to do with you shoveling out claims in which you cannot confirm. I believe that dyno sheet before I believe what you state unless you can come up with the pertinent info to back yourself up. Can you do that?

Hum on a ls1 when you change out the lid for a aftermarket one there is proven gains.

Its a better design and is better than standerd coldair intake(notice every race car runs a ramair type setup when rules allow)

So hes not the retard

I had a moroso CAI and now I'm making a copy of colin91z's intake that he has on his car. I hope it comes out as nice, but I'm just going to modify my stock radiator support for now and make a sheetmetal one soon.

I feel that running a lid setup or a setup like larry (speed inc) or colin91z is better than the CAIs that you can buy, but it probably won't work for everyone. The OP made an attempt at his own version that kept the AC condenser so why try to knock him down???

I have read the gains and if your too blind to see them or listen to anyones results then just keep your hands off the keyboard and save everyone from getting dumber having to read through your posts

STFU give the guy a break, he tried something and rather than bashing it why not make a suggestion to make it better? But who wants to do that when they can just bring someone down.

I'm getting pretty sick of this site lately, you can't start a new topic or ask a question without getting into a big pissing match about nothing.

Yah, were all on the internet and your ego is HUGE congts now grow up

He's working on it..give the guy a chance to finish it. Trust me mine looked like *** in the middle of the process..you got to start somewhere.

See you are like the most of us.. you read something and take the word for it when it makes sense..yea it if sounded like BS I'd be asking for numbers. This SS RRR guy needs numbers and every nit-picky detail on everything for some reason..

I don't know either man..the guy just likes to get on here and start **** with people. This isn't the first time the guy has done that. Maybe he is insecure with himself.

My Engine sucks in about 1100-1200cfm and maybe a couple of birds every now and then..I can't see any LT1 Elbow-style keeping up with my Lid.

correct lt1 elbow flows under 800 cfm!

Hey 'Hum' Forrest, realize the subject at hand here. This has nothing to do with changing out any LS1 lid on a LS1 anything. Please re-read if you are that troubled. Seriously if you feel you have something intelligent to say then at least keep up with the topic.

Have you seen The Hangover yet? You are the bearded guy, except not funny.
BTW... I installed a Tornado and took .6885 off my ET and gained 1.87mph in the 1/4. Don't ask me to prove it.

the merv isn't the only one who claims gains from a lid style.

Rudy 96lt1m6 or something like that claims 2/10 and 1.5mph same track same day tested back to back.

I'll just throw out here that I actually PM'd you to discuss this and keep the BS to a minimum..but you obviously ignored that. I guess you have something to prove. Kinda hard when you have quite a few of the same facts from various individuals in front of you.

Just keep diggin that hole..

What honestly have you contributed to this whole conversation besides ?

Yeah thats pretty sad.

Tanner is that any elbow (aluminum) or the stock rubber ones? Or does it even matter.

Like I said above if you can't read what other people have gained by switching to an LS1 lid vs the CAI setup then just stop taking of space with posts that have nothing to do with anything.

What setup do you have on your car? Stock intake with a paper filter because the motor will only take as much air as it needs and that works just fine? BTW if cost is what your worried about I only have about $90 into mine and its exactly what Colin91Z has and if you think that it looks like **** then you need to just stay off of the forums or at least not post anymore

But the post needs to be locked down in my opinion from being ruined by some moron that makes really sweet dyno graphs. How old are you anyway? My buddies 2.5 year old daughter draws pictures like that all the time, he hangs them on the fridge.......

Agreed..this topic has gotten way out of whack.

I'm lovin that Dyno graph though.. I wish my kid's powerwheels had that much power after they dyno'd it and drew the graph for it. I'm jealous..
